Super Junior’s Kyuhyun donates 2.54 tons of rice to the needy

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun recently donated 2.54 tons of rice (254 bags of rice weighing10 kilograms each) to the Nowon District, where he was born. On February 7, Kyuhyun’s father Cho Young Hwan visited the Nowon District Office and delivered 2.54 tons of rice that Kyuhyun received when he performed in the musical The Three Musketeers. Nowon District distributed the rice to senior citizens and households in need on February 7 and 8. Kyuhyun has donated 6.5 tons of rice so far. Over 50,000 children, who couldn’t afford their meals, can now have a meal with that rice. M Musical Company, production company for the musical, also donated about 20 tons of rice they received when they performed Rock of Ages and Jack the Ripper.
