Chinese version of “We Got Married” to be officially aired on Korean channel on the 25th
Source: TVDaily/Korea Star DailyThe Chinese version of the programme “We Got Married” has officially been aired locally yesterday (14th February), and the programme has been scheduled to air on the Korean channel MBC TV on the 25th. It is bound to trigger a new craze. The Chinese version of “We Got Married” is a programme which has been specially created by Korea’s MBC TV and China’s SMG in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Korean and Chinese relations.
The programme has made it onto the “Shanghai Entertainment” magazine, earning the attentions of a large number of fans in China. Before the broadcast of the programme, SMG began their fervent promotions through their online video portals in order to increase the hype on the programme. Both parties also hoped that through this opportunity, they would be able to increase the cultural exchange between the young artists of both countries when the 20th anniversary of the Korean-Chinese relations rolls by.
In the Chinese version of “We Got Married”, the celebrities from Korean and China crossed the country barriers and became a pair of made-up coupple. Super Junior’s member Kyuhyun was paired with Lou Yixiao, while T-ara’s member Hyomin was paired up with Fu Xinbo. It is highly anticipated how the differing cultures and values of both countries would spice up their ‘married life’.
On the other hand, because of the worker strike going on at MBC TV, “We Got Married” was forced to go off air for two weeks (4th and 11th), and this caused concern amongst viewers whether the strike would be prolonged with the addition of the Chinese version of “We Got Married”.

According to the media on February 18, Kang will leave for honeymoon with her husband Leeteuk after the ending of KBS 2TV’s Dream High 2 on March 20.
Kang plans to endeavor until the very end of the series, and recover her exhausted body and mind with the honeymoon. Currently, Kang is a couple with Super Junior’s Leeteuk on MBC’s We Got Married.
There were rumors that this couple would drop out of the series because Kang has to shoot for Dream High 2 and Leeteuk has to enter military soon. It sounded plausible because Park So Hyun and Kim Won Joon couple dropped out of the show at that time.
Therefore, last month, Leeteuk tweeted, “The dropout is nonsense.”

Credit: NinginSuper Junior’s Kyuhyun flew to China last month to film for the special Valentine’s Day Chinese edition of We Got Married, and his wifey updated her Weibo to ask for support and love from fans as the episode would air later on Valentine’s Day (at the time of writing this, the episode has not aired).
Lou Yi Xiao wrote, “Please watch ShangHai’s Entertainment Channel “We Got Married” on February 14, Valentine’s day, and support Kyuhyun and I, the ‘I don’t know what couple name’ couple. (There’s no official announcement [of the couple name] yet) But I heard that someone gave the nickname of “the chopper couple” Who… did this? Sigh, can we be in harmony [by] communicating [with one another] in Mandarin and Korean?”
In the picture she uploaded, the two look adorably cute together and very much so like a couple. Well, Lou Yi Xiao, perhaps the two of you are dubbed “Chopper Couple” because of the knife that you brought in the preview, heh.
